A24 engaged Cultural Counsel in 2020 to execute the global launch of their philanthropic auction platform, A24 Auctions. By auctioning off costumes and props from A24’s standout productions like Midsommar, Uncut Gems, The Lighthouse, Euphoria, and Mid90s, the project raised $362,375 for New York City workers and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to securing major top-tier coverage for A24 Auctions—with over 400 feature-length press hits—Cultural Counsel worked with A24 prior to the launch to advise on messaging, timing, and launch strategy to position the project as an avenue for COVID-19 relief as well as a significant moment in film history. We also assisted A24 by drafting auction copy for each lot.
Cultural Counsel continues to assist A24 on publicity and promotion for their merchandise, podcast, and publishing arms.
