Since 2018, Cultural Counsel has worked with Kickstarter—the world’s largest crowdfunding platform for creative projects—to promote the launch of its Arts campaigns and partnerships, and to raise the profile of Kickstarter’s then newly appointed Senior Director of Arts, Patton Hindle.

Notable projects include For Freedoms’ 50 State Initiative, a national art campaign aimed to spur civic engagement around the midterm elections; Amplifier’s “We the Future,” which brought political art and teaching tools to 20,000 K-12 classrooms across the U.S.; and American Backyard, a book of photographs and essays that chronicle two peoples’ journey along all 2,000 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border.

As a long-term communications partner, our engagement has expanded to include Kickstarter’s Film projects, which have premiered at festivals around the world and been nominated for Academy Awards.
