The Armory Show engaged Cultural Counsel to promote the fair as a must-see cultural event, strengthen its position as New York’s iconic art fair within the global art market, and to help launch major new programs. These included Armory Off-Site at the US Open, which brought large-scale sculptures to the grounds at the US Open, and Armory Spotlight, an initiative honoring a New York cultural institution with a complimentary booth at the fair, inaugurated in 2022 by experimental arts organization The Kitchen.
Cultural Counsel secured press throughout the spring in the lead-up to the fair and during it, initiating press campaigns to unveil cultural partnerships and events, and engaging media from across the cultural sphere. This involved arranging international press trips, on-site event support, sales reporting, and courting key media for special events.
