The Ford Foundation

The Ford Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation have engaged Cultural Counsel to announce a variety of grant programs, including Disability Futures, a fellowship developed to directly support and increase the visibility of the work of disabled artists, filmmakers, writers and more across the country, and the Latinx Artist Fellowship—a multiyear initiative administered by the US Latinx Art Forum (USLAF) in collaboration with the New York Foundation for the Arts.

Given our past work in the philanthropic field, Cultural Counsel was well-equipped to promote and garner crucial media and public attention to these programs. For each engagement we develop and implement a comprehensive media plan, announcement strategy and social media campaign to support the fellowship cycle, highlighting the practices of the Fellows, the institutional work of the grantmakers, securing extensive press including an exclusive in The New York Times, as well as Los Angeles Times, NPR, and others.
